Hello everyone,

Has your life changed since you moved to Qatar? If so, in what way?

Tell us more about all the changes in your life regarding your family, job, or friends. What about your frame of mind? How would you define your mood?

Leisure activities improve our health and social interactions. How much time do you dedicate to leisure activities and networking nowadays?

Would you say that your standard of living has improved in Qatar? What income differences have you noticed?

On a scale of 0 to 10, tell us how much your expatriation to Qatar has transformed your life (0 = no change, 10 = dramatic change).

We look forward to hearing from you!

On mid April is my 2nd month in Qatar. I live in the Philippines and this is the first time I went abroad.

I work here as a marketing officer of a limousine company.

I can say, Qatar is a place where I can feelnthat I'm safe. It's a very quiet and peaceful place.

However, being a first timer (expat), I can still feel the homesickness. I miss my country, the people and the usual activities I do there. I can say that Qatar is far far different from my home country.

Now my fellow expats, I need your advise on how can I overcome this homesickness. I know it's normal but for some reason, this homesickness really bothers me.
