Domestic travel after visa expiry

Hi ... my friend wanted to travel from muscat to Salalah by flight on April 12th but unfortunately his visa is getting expired tomorrow and it will take atleast 10 days more for visa renewal. Pls tell me if domestic travel is allowed in such cases

He'll probably be asked for ID at the gate, and that means there's a chance he'll get questioned.

Hi Deepthi06,

There is a grace period of 1-month for the employment visa to be renewed.

For domestic air travel, there shouldn't be any serious issues.

If travelling by road, there would be none.
