To work in Singapore

Post new topic

Hello everyone,

I am planning on coming to SG but heard that even if employers hires you, it's the government who approves the work visa or work permit, is it true? Do they approve the work permits to the expats like me from Nepal? How hard is it to find jobs in restaurant and hotel as I am really interested in coming to work there.

Please advise.

Yes, it is true.
Whether you can get a work permit (or other work visa) depends both on your education and experience as well as on the employer.
