Hello I am Gregory, I am beginning my journey of finding place to live once I retire. I currently live in Toronto, Ontario and wanting to live in a vibrant community beyond the Canada borders. Not sure if Ecuador is the right place but thought I would reach out now and find out what's going in the country and get some varying opinions from those of you who have either been living there. Any information or contact I would appreciated

RE MY SPANISH: My spanish is ok for basic conversations and socializing BUT if conducting medical evaluations or complex business dealings I want a fluent college educated Ecuadorian friend to trasnlate just to be certain I have not misunderstood anything. When I registered my visa in Quito I had him with me and also when I opened my bank account. Jim
