Moving to Portimao in mid to late September to set up permanent residency. Would like to find centrally located 2 bedroom 2 bath apt or condo/townhouse/cottage with kitchen near bus lines, markets, etc. Will rent for off season until I find exactly where I want to live. Any expats with such a place available about then please contact me. I am living on US social security of $2100 month.

Hello!
We are moving to Portimao in November. We have secured a 1 br apt for our first month and will look for a 2 br/2 ba when we arrive. We've looked at places on airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor and longtermlettings.com. Of course, you never know until you see it in person, but that's why we decided to rent just for a month at first. I'd love to keep in touch since we have similar plans just two months behind you.
