Hi all,

I am moving to Shanghai in March because of my husband's job. Need some help regarding job search in shanghai. I am an IT engineer with 3 years of experience in software development and testing with Infosys and Cognizant.
Can someone help me with some pointers of recruitment agencies in China or some job searching tips here..

Thanks in advance,
Richa

Welcome on Expat.com Richa ;)

I hope that other members will be able to advise about some good recruitment agencies soon. Else, you may also browse through the articles in the Work in China guide page. I wish you all the best for your career.

Hi Richa

If you get a job in Shanghai, the salary will be much lower than you get a job from singapore and come to shanghai to work here as an expat.  Looking at the classified ad, even a very experienced foreign english teacher's pay is about 1,000 RMB!  Try writing to companies in sinapore and see if you can get a job from there.  or approach recruitment agencies like michael page and see if they can help.
