NY Relocation with E-3 Visa - Job Search Process for Accountant

Hi,

I am a Chartered Accountant looking to move to New York in October. From my research, I understand that the E3 visa (available to Australians) is relatively straightforward to get. My main concern is on the job search side of things. Can anyone share their experience dealing with recruiters and employers? Although it's known to be simple, are they put off by the added hassle of dealing with an E3 visa applicant?

Many are not familiar with it. It is also considerably easier to bring someone onboard where you can work with a maximum of two weeks from offer to start.

You first need a strong American resume, Yvonne, before recruiters or employers will even consider your candidacy.
