Hello everyone,

What are the main festivals in Tunisia? Are there art, food, music, film, or other festivals expats can attend and participate in?

When do the festivals take place? How long does each festival usually last?

What activities go on during the festival? Is it necessary to buy tickets?

Are there any other events that take place in Tunisia that shouldn't be missed?

There is a festival almost every week somewhere in Tunisia. The most famous is the Douz festival which is for 3 days and showcases the Berber heritage. Tunis the capital has many music and film festivals all through the year. Bizerte has a music festival in summer in August which attracts musicians from other countries.

Oh and I did forget to mention that the Association of Artisans have a fair in every region throughout the year. Beautiful traditional items.

Main one are musicals like :
1- Carthage ,
2- Jazz in Tabarka ,
3- Awesso in Sousse
