Hi everyone my name is Peggy I would like to retire to costa rica in two years anyone have suggestions on some where close to shopping or transportation since I don't drive?

Peggy, in every town you can live near 'shopping areas'...but ithey may not be what you are looking for.
It is best that you visit first, to narrow down the choices to what is important to you.

Bus service is cheap and good if you live near the city center or on the main route. Often when going to one town, you have to take a bus to another town first, then change buses, so it takes twice as long to get there.
Going to the shops will depend on what you re looking for, but the best shops are in the city.

Thank you so much
