A lot has happened since my first post October 27  2015.
After looking at various businesses which might benefit both me and my
Balinese partner, we decided that I would pay to build a Kost. Now the
Kost is finished and the builders have left. The Kost has 9 rooms and the
ninth is mine. It is 8.5mtrs by 3.5mtrs and within that has a kitchen and
bathroom. All the rooms have air con, but mine has a bath and hot water.
Mine also has 8' x 8' windows with glass doors looking onto a small garden
within the Kost. This will be my home from home when in Bali.
The rest of the Kost will be managed by my Balinese partner and I do not
intend to involve myself with it. It is already home to 2 new tenants.
I am extremely happy with all the decisions I've made in Bali, and I'm
truly happy with my Balinese partner. She's just bloody lovely, as is all
her family.

Hi Billy,
where part of bali do you stay?
What kind of payment for your kos?

lukereg

Good news, and its nice to hear.

BillyTea

Hi Ayunda
The Kost is in Denpasar. It's off a little sidestreet on jl Pakisaji.
The cost of the Kost ? Well, as a Yorkshire man I'm inclined to
keep that sort of information close to my chest. But if you
send me a private message I'll give you a ballpark figure.

BillyTea

Thanks Lukereg

My best wishes that your happiness continues as far into the future as you can reasonably expect.   :top:

Thank's Roy. I remember I still owe you a handshake and a beer.
Haven't been to Ubud since that first time. Soon I hope, mate.

OK Billy, no worries.  Cheers!
