Yes, next to Sheraton Oman there is a local gym called the 'Ruwi Gym'.

It is on the fifth floor of the corner building opposite to the 'Times of Oman' office. On the ground floor is a coffee shop called 'Cup of Joy'.

And no, that place does not have a swimming pool.

The closest swimming pool can be found at the Tulip Inn Downtown Muscat, the erstwhile Ruwi Hotel, opposite to O.C. Center.

There is also one a little further down at the Hafa House Hotel too, but that one is more like a water tank rather than a swimming pool.

A couple of kilometres ahead you can find Al Falaj Hotel, which has a swimming pool too.

However, none of these might actually be walkable every day from the Sheraton neighbourhood.
