Profession changing in iqama

Is there any work experience required for changing to Engineering profession? or only Degree is required?

No idea but 5 years experience is must for engineers.

I personally spoke to the spokesman of the Ministry of Labour and he told me that change of profession started from yesterday. Anyone else telling you to wait for Muharam got it wrong. Start now.

Who requires 5-year experience? Saudi Engineering council or Employer?

My profession Labour but I am engineer by profession my degrees are attested both from home country and from Saudia so how much time it will take to get registration from saudi council?I have ten years experience.

Guys good news changing profession on iqama option is open now . According to arab news staring from next week iqama profession option is open so guys don’t miss it who want to change profession.

I have all the registered documents how much time saudi engineering council will take for registration bcz I want to change my profession from Labour to engineer.

The profession change has started already?? or is it gong to start from 1st muharram?
And I have also heard that this changing of profession will be only for 45 days.. Is that true?

It took me a month.
But recently my friend got it in less that 15 days, as they were not many people who were registering into SCE.

To get the profession on your Iqama u need to be registered in SCE as a valid member. And SCE new rule is to have 5 years of *duration* not experience from the year of your graduation. I do not have 5 years of experience in engineering but I applied into SCE before this new rule of 5 years exp.

people who are already having valid documents attested and who are registered in the SCE can apply easily and the approval is also being done quickly for them.

If u have genuine degree of engineering and u are registered in SCE as a valid member.. then YES!

Can anayone show a source where is written to have 5 years of duration from Graduation date to register in Saudi Engineering Council.

I read some areas it will not take long time, with in a week, and don't worry profession change will remain open for long time Insha Allah.

New iqama is issued on temporary membership of SEC or permanent?and can we apply for permanent family visa on temporary membership?anyone have knowledge regarding this kindly share it will be apappreciated.

I have Computer engineering degree but don't have 5 years of experience or duration to get the registration of SEC, so I am thinking I should get the computer technician profession.  Now the question is, does it also need 5 years of experience ? can I get it my graduation date is January 2017. Does anyone know about it? Please share

Go for computer operator or technician profession it doesn't need degree attestation without five years experience SEC is not going to register.

as i searched computer operator cannot get a family visa, therefore i am searching for information about computer technician.

Without company letter profession is not going to be changed and condition is that company status should be in platinum or green zone if company status is low than they can't change profession of their employees.

Then go for technician

How much time will be taken for attestation of degree?

It will be temporary membership. Once you complete the documents submission and payments of SCE then u have to go to the SCE headoffice, you take a token and visit the person there.. he will issue a ticket for your request and later u will receive a sms from SCE. Go to the office again and collect your SCE certificate and the SCE licence card. The membership will automatically turn to VALID MEMBERSHIP.

You cannot apply for family visa on a temporary membership
