It is Expensive country but if you know place for stay and food you can easily get in medium range.
Seychelles is a following European culture like french, local language is creole and most of area name are looking french names.

Mahe: you get beau valloun each and other nice beaches. Good night life, bar, club in friday saturday and sunday. the local people are very good and friendly they can guide us, very less chance of cheating because they are respecting tourist and all peoples. Praslin: is a very beautiful island and world famous beaches are there
Ladigue: is a very nice island there is no more vehicles are allowed, natural life and the local people are great
some of more natural and privets island are there which are more expensive to stay there
If you find out small hotels and self carting you will get more enjoyment from locality and with good price also.
its a free visa country and very peaceful to stay for holidays.
