Dear All,
This is Abu from Tamilnadu,India.

I got an offer from one reputed company as contract hire employee for one year of period.

Here the thing is my company asking me to sent directly the attested original certificate of my engineering degree as well as all originals of my 8 semester marksheets for the visa process.

I ask with them why you need my originals, for that they are telling that with the originals only they can proceed the visa process.

Is that true for oman employment visa?

Is original certificates are mandatory for applying the employment visa in oman?

I am completely in confuse as well as fear to sent all the originals to my company.

Please guide me and give me suggestions on this post.

Earliest response are most welcomed and thankful.

Answer to all your above questions is YES. Your original attested degree would be a mandatory document to process your work visa. Apparently You may opt a reliable courier portal to process this transaction.

Thank you for your valuable info.

Here my employer is ask with with me for the all original documents related to my engineering degree.

During the transit if anything goes wrong i am unable to face the consequences.

As you know if my original certificates are gone then there is a big ? in my life.

Please give me some guidelines to handle this situation.

I am thinking about first i ll fly to Oman with Express Visa and i ll did all the formalities over there in person.

You can obtain an express / visit visa with the consent of your employer or a sponsor. Generally, sending the original attested degree is a usual practice but if you have alot of concerns, you can opt to fly Oman for a visit.
