land/property ownership in Sri Lanka for British citizen

Hi,

is there any law in Sri Lanka that prohibits land / property ownership for foreign nationals ?

what happens to the property owned by a Sri Lankan born person who gets citizenship in the UK (hence losing SL citizenship) ?

any links advice on this please ?

I was after more from personal experience..and also what happens to the ownership of properties in my name at the time my Sri Lankan citizenship ceased..

also some links say foregner's can but only from 4th floor . why is this ?
