Preferred accommodation areas while company office in bukit Jalil ?

Hi Guys!
Myself, Ashwani (M/25), IT professional with office in bukit Jalil KL(moving to Malaysia in December)
Assuming accommodation in Central city of KL might be expensive, what can be the preferred areas to target for accommodation? What's the preferred mode of transport?

Main mode of transport in KL would be a car. Bukit Jalil is a decent place to stay in
