By coming to Malta and getting in touch with both job and rental agents, there more chance of getting a job by being here then trying to do it from home also you need to be able to look at property.  Why not come over for a few days holiday and have a good look around.  It also depends on what experience and qualifications you may have with regards to work.  Good luck.
