Paying bills in Nigeria

Post new topic

Priscilla

Hello everyone,

What bills do you pay? If you are renting, are bills included in the price of rent, and is this common practice in Nigeria?

How can you pay your bills (e.g. online, at provider's store, at the post office)? Which is the most convenient or reliable way?

With what frequency are different bills sent in Nigeria? Are there different deadlines for payment?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Hi Priscilla, it's depends on the bill you want to pay, but most bills if not all can be pay in a bank, where are you living in Nigeria, anyway,  I will advise you just walk into any bank and ask their staff questions concerning any of the bill you wish to pay for.
Concerning your other questions I think only  electricity bill comes monthly others depends on your consumption rates...... I don't even think water bill is available in Nigeria again, likewise gas and co you buy those by yourself from retailers. I hope this answers helps. Thanks.
