The networks can be ranked by nationality or by destination. I suggest you try the same for the blogs: then you can look for, let's say, all Americans writing a blog.

we could also rank them by category, tags ... I have to think about all this

Well, you could go via the different networks.
Now you can see where each network member lives and what they like. Maybe an icon can indicate if they have a blog, so you don't have to open each profile in order to find that out?

Hi Globetrotter and Julien,
Its an excellent idea to categorise blogs.Just yesterday,I was looking to search for blogs about local expat life and specific local content like cultural events,social activities,a blog similar to mineand I had to open and go through every one to see that they were personal or of only rock musicthe categorisation will assist in the ranking as well.It will make Expat.com super intuitive!Well done for the site Julien!
