Hello everyone,

Which city or area do you live in in Norway, and how do you find the traffic?

How long does it take to commute to work or run errands?

Is there a rush hour in your city? What times of the day would you recommend people to avoid driving if they can?

Are there any ways to avoid spending too much time in traffic in Norway?

What is parking availability and cost like?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Traffic in Norway depends on where you are. Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger and a few more of the bigger cities have times when it both difficult and expensive to drive. In Oslo there was a protest just the other day because of raising the toll prices. If you drive a diesel car in cold days in the inner city you have to pay about $30! at every toll stations - and they are everywhere.
Driving an electric car is totally different. You can drive in bus lanes, no or less toll, and somewhere even free parking. So choose your transportation wisely :)

In the smallest cities there are no toll roads and there isn't that much traffic.
