Jagadeesh Madhavan

Heloo Good Morning.

I am looking to quit the job and start a business in Oman.
But if I am not getting NOC from my employer is this possible to come back to a free zone in Oman and register my business in that freezone and do my business across the country?

Or kindly advise if there is any other alternative ways to start my Business without an NOC in Oman.

Sumitran

Hi Jagadeesh Madhavan,

The rules in Oman are far more rigid than the rules in the UAE, where the scenario like what you are describing is possible. But not in Oman.

Without a local partner / sponsor no expatriate will be allowed to get involved in any business / commercial activity.

And no expatriate employee who has resigned and leaves can return without a NOC.
