@likeaen yes of course. We have applied together with my Annex 46.

Hello All,

My spouse has been asked for annex 46 document and it is likely that we would not be able to provide it before the deadline. In this case what shall happen to visa status?
Will it go on hold or I have to apply again?

Hhello,
I applied for art10 Visa o  the 4th of July and I got a mail on the 7th of July that it has been sent out..However, it's yet to appear on dofi website.

I understand the waiting period and all, I'm just curious if am using the right Reference number to search. I'm using TLSABV....093 to search. Pls am I using the right one?

NB I deliberately dotted the first four numbers for privacy

Hi, I am from Philippines I applied for Visa for Marriage last September 23, 2022

I got an interview from Belgium Embassy in Manila: October 7, 2022

Sent my application to Belgium Home Office: October 10, 2022

I sent them an email about the status of my application: November 24, 2022 and infodesk replied

"We have received the visa application and it is currently being treated. As soon as a decision is taken it will be communicated by the diplomatic post which will invite the visa applicant and give the decision"

My fiance and I have received an email from his municipality last October 5, 2022 that the Immigration Department in Brussels has approved our proposed marriage

Anyone here can help how much longer should I wait for the visa?

khushilaskar989

Hi, i am in a similar situation, i have applied for marriage visa from india in end of july, I received the first email u shared. but we did not receive any approval email. I am still waiting for results. I checked on website for visa status. It startes showing after September. but it still says "in process"

I dont know how long we have to wait.

Hi All,

I received an comments as below can anyone know what to do next.

applied : july 6

registered: july 13

decision date : dec 02

decision : Awaiting receipt of documents supporting the visa application sent by diplomatic pouch by the diplomatic/consular post.

extra info 1 : The visa file is processed only upon receipt of the relevant documents, even if the visa application has already been submitted electronically previously. The dispatch by diplomatic bag lasts on average one month. The processing time of the visa application then depends on the complexity of the file.

Tgey need more documents from you, You have to contact them or wait for their letter.

I had the same problem.

madhankumar 1026

@siyam etemadi,

I have been asked to submit the below documents:

1) Rental contract - This is the certificate that we get from my rent?

2) Employment contract - Is this annex 46?

3) The correct  ' certificate for family reunification ' of the health insurance fund (proof of affiliation) - what is this one? i have already provided travel insurance at the time of application submitted and it was expired 28/11 , did they want a new travel insurance or other health insurance ( it will applicable once she arrived here?)

Can you please guide me.

Aneesh

  1. Your actual rental contract + the confirmation of registration you get from myrent.be
  2. No, the formal contract you signed with your employer.
  3. An attestation from your Belgian mutuality that they will cover your spouse as she arrives here. (An undertaking from your employer may also work - not 100% sure though - that they will subscribe your dependant(s) to a Belgian mutuality once they arrive here).

Hi All

I have a query. Me and my husband will be applying for visa together. Mine is visa d for belgium and he will be coming on dependent visa. Is there a problem if he comes to belgium 1 month later than i go?

Aneesh

@komalsinghk2 No problem. He can travel during the validity period of his visa. However it wll be easier if you both initiate your registration process in Belgium at the same time (you can initiate it once month after your arrival - no issues).
