Hello,

I am sending money and filling up remittance form but the lady is doing error in writing.

So the format i wrote: (name is fictional)
First Name: Allen James
Middle name: C
Last name: David

but the tellers final output is:
First name: Alllen
Middle Name: James
Last name: David

The receiver wasn't able to claim it. We revised:
But she entered:
First name: C
Middle Name: Allen James
Last name: David

I don't know if i should cry or laugh. Is  there no middle name/initial here? Or can she just follow my format?
Middle name is the last name your mother.

I showed her my id showing the first format. But she would not listen.

In the future it's probably better to do it online and bypass the incompetent functionaries.  You'll have to probably go back and be more insistent with them.

In Romania, they have the prenume (which to us actually comprises of the first AND middle name) and then the surname, which is the last (family) name.  Yeah, when you try to explain anything different to many locals, it just doesn't fit their logic, so it must not be possible and they try to make it conform to what they think is correct here in Romania.  I've had the same experience many times.

I cancelled the transaction, got my money back and will do online remittance instead.
It's a frustrating experience.
