As I saw in some job posts, the entry salary for hotel receptionists starts at around 12k and goes up to 15k or 18k with night shifts and additional languages.
But if your choice is between "hotel receptionist" and "general manager", I would suggest you reconsider your qualifications first.
btw, a realistic salary for a general manager position is between 25K and 2.5 Million
