I'm writing a movie script set in Brazil and I'm wondering about the political/financial (banking) scene here from 1960 to the early 1990s. I'm finding it difficult to get straight answers regarding how wealthy people got their money out of the country during that time frame if they wanted to. Maybe I'm wrong, but other countries have nationalized their banks during politically unstable times and I'm wondering how I can get more information about this.
