Need advice on relocation from New Delhi to Kuala Lumpur

Post new topic

Dear Friends,

I will be relocating to Kuala Lumpur from New Delhi this month on Employment Pass. As this would be my first time in Malaysia I am seeking advice on few things from all of you.

1.    My office location is: The Intermark, Jalan Tun Razak, Kuala Lumpur, 50400. Need advice on decent accommodations nearby. As I am bachelor so no problem in sharing flat or I can go for studio apartment nearby. I will be provided company accommodation for 1st 30 days.

2.    Cost of living for a bachelor to live decent life in Kuala Lumpur.

3.    Any important tips before leaving Delhi, India.

Best Regards

Gravitas

Flat sharing idea - http://www.ibilik.my/rooms?keywords=vista+Damai If you want a studio then Summer Suites is a walk away from the office.

COL - take a look at websites numbeo and expatistan for ideas of cost levels. Rent, food, utilities, internet, phone will be around RM3k per month

If you intend to drive sort out your license: https://www.indianhighcommission.com.my … ense.html#
