Hello everyone

I am Josie. All my life i have always dreamed of living in France. I am 43 years and currently pursuing a degree in the study of languages and learning to speak French as part of my course.

I have a two year plan for my move to France. I have chosen Toulouse after researching this region for an assignment as part of my course. i am visiting Toulouse for the first time in February and i am hoping to make some friends.

i also wanted to do some volunteering whilst i'm there.

Many thanks

Welcome to the Forum Josie :)

You might wish to have a look at WORKAWAY. You get to stay with a host, they provide your digs and food. In return, you help out. Depending on where you go, it might be helping on the farm,  with tourists, if they have a shop or teaching their children English etc... In your case, it might be ideal to make contacts and friends.

I've only heard good things about it. I've not tried it myself, but plan to maybe this year.

Watch the YouTube Video.

Note: I have no connection with the site, or any of the Hosts and not selling it to you, just suggesting as an idea.
