Dear All, one of my friends who is working with a telecom company in Bahrain has his RP till 1st Feb. 2018, he is traveling to Dubai now and wants to return on 29th January, can he do that?

Will Dubai immigration allow him to Travel to Bahrain if the RP is valid for less than a week?

Thanks for your reply in advance,

Regards,
Ram

Hi,

I am afraid his visa application would be rejected since below conditions have to be met

GCC Residency must be valid at least (3) months from arrival date.
Passport must be valid at least (3) months from arrival date.

Depends on his passport.

If he is from a country which doesn't have visa on arrival in uae then he has to apply for a visa based on his gcc residency. And that application would be rejected as pointed out above by logicalindian.

If he is from a visa on arrival country, he can enter on the basis of his passport and not his residency.
