Jobs Situations in Malaysia

Hi All,

I am currently working in Jeddah, KSA as financial Accountant with a group of companies.

I have more than 6 Years of experience in Accounts/Finance.

I am considering to move to Malaysia for bigger platform & exercises of IFRS.

I am open to all suggestions.

Kindly guide me how is situation in Malaysia regarding jobs or having a small setup of Consultancy Firm?

How is lifestyle there and visas for families?

Kindly guide me. Thanks in advance.

A joint-venture consultancy (sdn bhd) is probably not going to work, because immigration will only grant an employment pass if the skills you have are not available locally. They will therefore more than likely see you as an investor only.

Often easier to find a job there. Their local workforce is smaller than in Malaysia because of the demographics. But you may still have trouble registering with the accountancy body there which will prevent you working in some roles.
