Best Area

I'll travel Vietnam in 2018. What's the best area to rent for a few months in Vung Tau? Prefer safety and convenient to fresh fruit market than the sea.

Is humidity very terrible in May and June?

Vung Tau is quite small in terms of area, so unless you live beyond the outskirts of town, wherever you live it will never be more than 20 minutes from the beach or any market.

Most of the https://www.expat.community live on Phan Chu Trinh St or just off it. There are a lot of residences (blocks of flats/apartment buildings) and boutique/budget hotels. Basically there is a surplus of accommodation in town. Other people rent condos in Melody, OSC Land, Saigon Res, Hodeco, etc.

These places are considered more secure than renting a house since they have security guards and cameras.

There are some ads here:

and there are plenty more listings on other sites on the internet, so just do a websearch. Don't actually agree to anything until you arrive though. It's a buyer's/renter's market so come and have a look around first.

Stay near Co-op Mart in Hodeco Plaza. You will get everything whatever or whenever you wish.
