Hi there - I am an artist, moving to KL soon. I like to sell my paintings in Galleries or to exhibit them. Or some days I am happy to organise painting classes with a small group of people.
Where would you suggest me to do so?
Other than galleries, what are the options can I explore?
My art is affordable. They are modern, bright colors and fun paintings for contemporary homes/ offices.
If you know of an art manager, would appreciate if you can connect me too.
Thanks peep

Excited about our move to KL!!

You need an appropriate immigration pass to do this or set up a corporate structure in Malaysia or Labuan offshore

The reason is you have to register for GST

Galleries can't deal with purchases without GST as it is illegal.

See the above, Gravitas has a habit of being totally correct in every post.

Once you're legal, finding galleries is very easy, either by a good old google or simply get an instagram account and adding all the local places, picturing your work for them to see.
IG is very popular in the art world so the galleries are very easy to find.
