Saudi Postal Service

Post new topic

Hello! I am new to the forum. I am from the US and planning to move to be with my husband in Taif. He says that there is no postal service in Saudi Arabia. I assume he must be mistaken. How do people get bills for individual houses if there is not address system? I am very confused. Also, I want friends and family to be able to write to me, send cards ,etc. I am old-fashioned that way.

There is Saudi Postal Service but in my case, I didn't receive the cards sent by a friend from Canada except one time in those 6 years!

Safe way is to send through a courier service like Aramex/Fedex/Samsa etc. and daily communication could be via social media app🙂.

Saudi Post is not the best of it's kind, but definetely does the job. The easiest way is to use your company's P.O. box / office address for your needs. Or you can rent a P.O. box for yourself in the nearest post office. Or you can buy the mail box and fix it on your door (need to register yourself online in National Address system, so Saudi Post will know where to deliver).
I am happy with my company's P.O. box, ordering lots of stuff from ebay and aliexpress, the delivery rate is around 90-95%
