I am an Australian considering a position in the Solomon Islands
I have done a quick calculation of the proposed salary and tax wise I will be worse off
Has anyone had a similar experience and then lodged a resident Australian tax return with the ATO?
Did you get a credit for tax paid to the Solomon island authorities?
As far as I can tell there is no double tax agreement between Aust and Solomon islands which means you can effectively taxed in both countries
