First time coming to Toronto on PR. Do I need to have PRTD?

Hi All
I am Eswara. I have got COPR on 19-Feb. Booked flight tickets to come to Toronto on 20th April, 2018. Meanwhile I came to know that I should have PRTD (Permanent Residence Travel Document) to come to Toronto on PR visa. Is it true? Now I am worried. I don't know the process and How long will it take?

I believe you have been issued a permanent resident visa on your passport. Isn't it? PR card will only be issued in Canada. You can apply PRTD if you don't have a PR card or COPR and you are entering Canada, or leaving Canada and need to come again to Canada.
