how to sale a second hand car by proxy through a solicitor

I intend to sale my second hand car but I will not be able to be in Qatar to do it by myself but I thought to leave a friend of mine to do it. Is there anyone that can suggest how to do by proxy (through a solicitor or other legal way) in Qatar? Thanks

Not specific to Qatar but in most GCC countries, you can give a specific power of attorney (as opposed to a general POA) to someone to carry out transactions on your behalf such as sale / purchase of property and assets.

Ideally it needs to be executed in the local courts in Qatar. If not, then it needs to be executed in home country, attested by ministry of foreign affairs of home country, attested by Qatar embassy in the home country and then Ministry of foreign affairs in Qatar to serve as legal tender. And ideally should be accompanied with a legal translation to Arabic.
