Changing of job

You don't need a NOC to change at the end of a contract but you do need to get immigration approval for an EP with the new company or you will have to leave the country due to having no immigration status.

The new company should make the application now, showing a start date immediately after the end of your current EP.  If you want to take a short break outside Malaysia and return to take up the new job you would need a VDR to return. If the employment status is continuous you will not need one.

        Thanks a lot, what is EP? So after finishing my contact I can apply for the new job. How long it will take time to do the process of new company visa? After how many days I can apply for new company visa(once my contact expire on 14 may 2018)

EP = employment pass

The new employer should apply NOW to get approval from immigration to hire you.

It will probably take 3-4 weeks to get approval

Remember immigration may reject the application.  This will give you more time to look for work before your current EP expires.

YOU can't apply - ONLY an EMPLOYER can apply for an EP

Check the terms of your contract of employment and if there is an end date which is the same as your EP expiry date.  If this is the case you don't need any paperwork from your current employer as long as the new job starts immediately after the current one.

If there is no end date on your contract of employment, you may need to resign from your current job with your end of service being the expiry date of your current EP. If there is no end date, check how much Notice you have to give your employer.

Once the new EP is approved (3-4 weeks, immigration will also endorse the new EP in time for you to start working for them.

       I have department pass, my wife is pregnant and plan to deliver my baby in India. I have a plan to change my job, so may be I have to go back to India. In case new company give me dependent pass and my wife is not be able to come with me in June, can she come later alone with kid?
May be in October she can enter in Malaysia on dependent pass?

Yes, you can ask the new employer to process both  your EP and her DP immediately. Then she can travel when she wants.  You will need to get a DP for your child

   Actually in my offer letter, my contact expire (upon expiry of contact) written in my contact. Means I think no need to give resignation because I am leaving company once my visa finished. One more thing I have to apply for DP for my wife and kid together? Or once he/she born and enter in Malaysia that time require?

Does it say 2 year contract?  It should say something about time. If not, it is continuous contract based on giving notice.

If possible apply for your wife's DP together when the company applies for your EP

I assume her DP expires on same date as your EP.

She then will have free movement between India and Malaysia without a VDR

Apply for your child's DP, once you have a passport issued. You will need the birth certificate certified

          Thanks again, normally our company give offer letter every year during yearly visa renewal time. Every year they change date and year on offer letter. I think its yearly contact, no need to resign or any document, is it right?

  Hi I am working with a company as chef, my  visa will expire on 14 of may 2018, I got one job offer from another company and and their joining date is 1 June 2018.
           Now I want to change Job, I already resign, and my contact will expire on 14.5.2019. Do I need any no objection certificates or any other documents for processing mew visa?
Because my visa expire on 14.5.2018
