Hi All

I have read through numerous posts and the recurring theme is to work through a reliable and honest property lawyer or Notary.

Is there any that members can recommend as I am keen on purchasing a property.

Hi I would have no problem recommending my lawyer .He is honest and reliable and he is based in Kotor.I have used him on the purchase of my property and for making my will and testament.
He has very good English also and is very helpful.

Gerhard,
For classic due diligence, you can use the services of Notaries which are a LOT cheaper.
If there are any specific difficulties or doubts, then you can hire a lawyer...
