Hi I'm new in Jeddah, teaching english at a private institute, 43 years old northern irish male. I love sports and meeting people. I'd love to snorkel/dive, play sports, meet up with others. I'm in Al Faisayah but hoping to move as my company will pay for it. Any info on accommodation, activities etc greatly appreciated. Ta

Thanks for the replies. My company gives me a housing allowance of 400 US dollars a month. I'm not sure how much apartment this will buy. I don't mind sharing with someone. Compounds are expensive no?

This amount is for unfurnished apartment.
Yes you have to find shared apartment.

Hey Mike,

You may find Studio/1bedroom furnished apartments in the USD400 monthly range.

I am currently in a 2 bedroom furnished apartment SAR 3000 monthly and sharing with a brit expat. I will pass you the contact information for the building management and see if they have any vacant studios.

Location is : Salamah District, Prince Sultan Street.
