Hi! It depends on your husband position in iqama, engineers up..he can.

So far I know that he got permit visa He’s been working for McDonald’s for almost 3 years now. Is he likely to get me spouse visa likely?

In Saudi, to sponsor family members, it comes down to the profession that is listed ON the Iqama or resident card.   Not all professions are eligible.

Have a look at this to get an idea:

My husband iqma says (Dependent) for Occupation what does Dependent mean can anyone please explain this to me.

That a good thing?  Is that bad thing?

XTang

Strange. Are you sure?

Dependent is generally family members of the sponsor.

Amiira12

100% is that bad thing or.......

XTang

Well with that he can't sponsor you. And I am surprised as to how he is able to work with that profession - its illegal.

Amiira12

But he got permit residency

XTang

Dependents get residency but they can't work. To work they need to transfer to an employer who sponsors them for a work visa and then they can sponsor their family members as "dependents.

So either you are not sure what it says on the iqama or if you are sure, then he cannot sponsor you. And he is working illegally to boot.

My suggestion is to ask and find out what it says in Arabic on the iqama ie the exact Arabic script and post it here. Maybe you are losing something in the translation. There is no English wording for profession in the iqama btw.

Please I need a real. Answer.

Thank u so much for ur help

XTang

If you want a "real" answer, you are going to have write in clear English what the issue is and give all the details.

I don't understand what you are saying:

1) Is your husband in Saudi on an Iqama?
2) Are you in Saudi?  what is your visa status?
3) What is your husband's profession on the Iqama?
4) What visa did he apply for?  that was rejected

It should not be cancelled until unless your husband’s profession is within the list of allowed professions who can keep the family in saudi. What is your husband’s profession on his Iqama ?
