Cooling Period Question

Post new topic

Fredrick13

I have a friend who have resigned from a job and going back to her hometown and she must serve her cooling period for 3 months.

But she still want to travel to Malaysia either for leisure or for personal reasons. So is she allowed to travel to Malaysia while under cooling period?

If she does, then the cooling period may become invalid from what I have read, and this will complicate any future application for an employment pass.

I read that it was "inadvisable" written on the EMGS interactive blog about immigration processes. - https://connect.emgs.com.my/ I know this is different in some ways from getting an EP, but the advice was given out concerning entering Malaysia while waiting for visa-related processes to be completed.

It would be good if other members have experience they can share on this question please?
