Hi
I will be coming to Bonn on 27.07.18 - 12.08.18 with my family (2 adults, 3 children under 10) and am looking for accommodation in the Venusberg area.
Do you have any recommendations or suggestions?
Kind regards
Magnus

Have you tried Google "short stay apartment in Bonn" and see what it turns up, or you could stay in a hotel?

Your stay of just two weeks will not give you much cost advantage when booking a services apartment, compared to a cheap hotel. I thus recommend the latter, as it is much easier to find (e.g. by booking.com or Google).
