Jobs for Vietnamese Living in Hong Kong

Post new topic

Jennynga

Hello everyone,

My name is Nga, and my English name is Jenny. I was born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam. I have been living in Hong Kong for 10 years. I can speak English, Cantonese but I can't read and write Chinese :(
I have been a shipping clerk in a garment company in Hong Kong for almost 10 years. And the company will be closed in this August due to bad business issue. I would appreciate if anyone can share their experiences of finding jobs. It's hard to find a job here because I can't read or write Chinese.

Nice to meet you all  :)  And have a nice day!

my advice to you will be  to

2 - target other industries  not only shipping
3 - i have some friend who sometimes needs peoples if you send me your resume i can send it to them, Hong Kong is all about networking.
4 - try LinkedIn  or  some chambers of commerce they have a lot of job adverts.

Hong Kong is very international and a lot of nternational companies  like to have the headquarter here .

Good luck with your job hunting.

Dear Laurent,

Sorry for my late reply and thank you so so much for your advice. It's so nice to hear that your wife is Vietnamese too. Could you please send me your email address so that I can send my resume to you? One again, thank you very much for your kindness and best wishes to you and your family.

Best regards,
Jenny
