Hi All,
I would like to know some details regarding NOC.
I am working here past 3 years and I would like to change my job. My current employer has promised me to provide the NOC also,However I heard some news saying that even though I have NOC my new employer would not able to get an employment visa for me because of some new rule which has been issued recently by ROP . Is this rule is valid or does any one know about this rule.
Is there any reliable source where can I know the latest rule regarding the NOC.
would it be possible my current employer to obtain a new employee with using of my current clearance quota or it will get cancelled ?

Hi arshad46,

There is a temporary Employment Visa Ban on some select professions.

If your profession falls under the said 'banned' category, then obviously your new employer would not be able to get you the employment visa, irrespective of your NOC.
