Start work before get the WHP card

Hi everyone
Recently I received my IPA for WHP from MoM and planning to start my internship on the 29th of June, I will arrive in Singapore on the 25th and will make an appointment with MoM for the 26th. I don't think I will get my card before the 29th of June, can work before I get the card ? Or I have to wait until I get my card to start ?

You can continue your work on 29 June,2018 before you receive your card.

On your joining day, within 48 hours you will undergo medical check up which is mandatory for foreigners to do basic check up and confirm medically fit before start your work.
Your employer will guide you how to proceed and the report will be submitted to MoM. Good luck
