Dear sir,

I had done medical in Qatar and i got unfit certificate for X-ray scar in 2013. After 5 year i can try for any other gulf country for work visa.

Hi Gordon gonsalves,

Once declared as unfit, you do not even have to wait for 5-years for a re-test.

You can try again in just 3-months time.

The only thing that I would point out is that if you have an x-ray scar (tb related), it doesn't matter which Gulf country you try for. They will all consider you as UNFIT if they see the scars on the x-ray - remember lung scars don't disappear with time. And secondly, five years ago, GAMCA wasn't operating in a full fledged manner as it is now and all applicants need to come through GAMCA testing for most GCC countries. If GAMCA find an x-ray scar now, they may likely mark you as permanent UNFIT as per the above reasons.
