Looking to hire a car for two months on a tourist visa

Hi,

I have an Australian driving license and was wanting to find out what I need to know before hiring a car for me and the family to use for two months while I’m Istanbul.

Will be staying with friends in Başakşehir, so won’t be going too far away from Istanbul.

Hope someone can help as I’m nervous about any unknown risks I might be taking on by doing this.
