Property Consultant Fees

just want to check whether there is any kind of fees/commission to be paid while you seek accommodation/rent through a property owner like famhy furniture, al habib, tibiaan properties etc.

Hi rishabh.srivastava,

Since the property consultants would be showing only their available properties, there would be no extra fee or commissions to be paid by the client.

Thanks Sumit,

What if i call a x property consultant he/she transfer the query to a consultant and on finalising he/she ask for 2% commission on the entire year's rent.

If it is a trend fine, but if it is not then i may check again.

Hi rishabh.srivastava,

Like it happens in India all the time, you will not find any random individual like the neighborhood watchman / dhoby / ironing man / shopkeeper / house broker ... showing your houses for rent. So there will be no question of one agent transferring you to another. Each will operate independently.

However, for your own sake and as a precaution, inquire if any commission would be charged even before you start any site visits. If they say 'yes', do not proceed any further with them.
