Golden Visa

Has anyone gone through the Golden Visa process for either Spain or Portugal?

I am interested in this option as I want to limit the amount of taxes I am obligated to pay (eg less than 182 days living in said country), yet have a foothold in the country in question (in case I might want residency later).

Hello,
I am pretty much inside the process of the Golden Visa in Portugal.

Dear,
I am also interested in getting a Golden Visa.
Could you let me know how you did?
Did you do by yourself or hire lawer?
Could you recommend any law firm?

King Hong,
You will always need a lawyer, because its a burocratic process and its safer for you to avoid any legal issues.
You need to start the "golden visa process" with a lawyer, then you'll buy the property.

Are there any private websites of folks who publish about their personal experiences to getting a Golden Visa?

Aditi Paranjpe

Hello,
I have a very specific query.
We have already bought property in Portugal.
My unmarried daughter who is supported by us will also be applying for golden visa under my application.

She is currently registered in an open university in India.
The registration is as of February 2019.
Hence we have only the admission letter and no exams cleared yet.
In India the apostilling cannot be done on the admission letter alone.
Hence we have created an affidavit to support the admission letter which will be apostilled.
Is this acceptable by the Portuguese authority ?

Thankyou in advance.
Mrs. Aditi

Hello Aditi,

I have no much idea about your problem but while exploring Portugal on the net, we come across an immigration consultant who is from India and lives in Portugal. His company has an office in Gurgaon, India. He has good knowledge about the visa process. I am hoping he may have some idea about your quarry.
If you need his contact details do drop me a message.

Best of luck.
