Do you have local friends in Shanghai ?
Normally we rent house by the agent shop near the area you want to live.

But only Chinese is using maybe English.
A trust local people for company will be the best.

sorry if you just want to live for 3 months, I do not think you can find a house in the agent shop with such short-term.

There is some room in airbnb but will be little bit expensive.
Try to negociate with the owner and good luck.
