Question RE: Expired Visas & Bank Accounts?

I have a question and if anybody knows, please feel free to jump in: If you have a current work visa and an active bank account, once your visa expires, can you still access or receive funds in that bank account? FYI: it's an account with Vietcombank.

You will still be able to access whatever money is already there in your VCB acct ,,, BUT you can't receive any fund in that acct from any other source.

Despite the post is older: Why should funds receiv ing stop with the end of a visa? Sure you can access your funds, at least via somehow via card/ internet banking .... and receiving is well. Receiving is only "difficult" in some banks as a foreigner from Vietnamese sources, if no invoice exist.
Bank accounts don't expire, unless you close them. As there is always at least amount left

However, with a expired visa, you can find it difficult to get any service at all inside the bank as well anywhere, where you need any ID
